Youth Ministry at St. Joan is fun, relational, exciting and prayerful.
We hope the teens of the parish will join us for Middle School and High School Youth Group Nights.

Next Step Retreat

Who: Incoming Freshmen
When: Wednesday August 7, from 4-8 p.m.
Where: Social Hall
Why: A retreat designed for incoming freshmen to help with the Next Step. We will discuss hopes and fears going into high school, ways to seek out authentic community, and how to keep God at the center of high school! There will also be time for fellowship, fun, and of course food (dinner provided).


Fridays, twice monthly
6:30-8:30 p.m.
Social Hall

Each night includes a talk on the theme, prayer, testimony, high energy games, fun and food!

Youth Ministry Volunteers

Core Team Volunteers are needed to be present at either high school or middle school youth group to help engage the teens, share the faith with them, and have fun!

Kitchen Ministry Volunteers are needed to help with food for Youth Group nights, retreats and other youth ministry events. Duties include preparing snacks and meals as well as clean up.

Peer Leadership Application

For 8th-12th grade students

Who:     Open to grades 8th-12
What:   Peer Leadership aims to serve youth ministry through forming young people in discipleship and servant leadership. Teens will receive formation will assist in planning youth events at the parish.
When:  Tuesdays monthly from 7-8:30 p.m.
Cost:     Annual fee helps offset the cost of t-shirts, retreat, and supplies for the leadership team.

New Peer Leaders: please submit the application to Michelle Neitzke.
Returning Peer Leaders: please tell Michelle Neitzke that you intend to continue Peer Leadership.

We hope all Middle and High School teens will join us for a great year of youth group!
No cost to attend. Signed permission required yearly: St Joan Teen Youth Ministry Permission Form.
