Totus Tuus Needs
Daytime volunteer opportunities
Full day — 8:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Half day—8:45 a.m. – 12 p.m. (morning) OR 11:30 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. (afternoon)
Day Group Assistants
Assist with creating and maintaining a safe environment for all the children, supporting the missionaries in group settings by refocusing and redirecting children when necessary along with walking children to the restroom
Day Volunteers for Nursery
Supervise volunteers’ children who are not old enough to participate in the summer programs
Evening volunteer opportunities
Evening Group Assistants
Assist with creating and maintaining a safe environment for the middle and high school students, supporting the missionaries in creating a fun and relational environment, help with set up, sign in and snack. 7-9 p.m.
Dinner Family
To host a dinner for the eight missionaries (pick from Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings). This may be served in your home (home cooked or ordered out) OR you can take the missionaries out to dinner. It may be as simple or complex as you would like. Whatever is most convenient for you!
Weeklong volunteer opportunity
Host Family
To house two Totus Tuus missionaries for the week. Missionaries will arrive to the parish Saturday afternoon and depart Friday late afternoon. We request that a simple breakfast be provided for the team members each morning.
Preschool VBS Needs
Half day—8:45 a.m. – noon
Station leader
This volunteer will help lead one of our stations throughout the morning that all groups attend. Materials are lesson plans are provided!
Group Co-Leaders
This role will assist children in going from station to station, supporting the station leaders and walking children to the restroom or water fountain as needed.
Day Volunteers for Nursery
Supervise volunteers’ children who are not old enough to participate in the summer programs.
