As Catholics, we often find ourselves going through the motions. We believe in our faith but struggle to put it into practice; we are not the activated disciples we are called to be.
An activated disciple is someone who strives every moment of every day to imitate Jesus, someone who desires such a close relationship with God that every area of his or her life is transformed.
Join us as we explore our role as activated disciples on mission with Jesus Christ here at St. Joan of Arc and in the modern world.
A total of five sessions will be held and include a mix of informative videos, small tables, and large group faith-sharing discussions.
All sessions are on Tuesday nights at 7 pm in the Social Hall. Topics include:
October 4 – Introduction & Love
October 11 – Forgiveness & Humility
October 18 – Patience & Selflessness
October 25 – Kindness & Attentiveness
November 1 – All Saints Day – No Session
November 8 – Contrition & Conclusion
Are you interested in getting together with a group of women to explore your faith?
You don’t have much Scripture knowledge, but you would like to see how the Scriptures apply to your everyday life.
If so, we invite you to consider joining Walking with Purpose.
St Joan of Arc Catholic Church offers Catholic and non-Catholic men a program where men can talk to each other about the challenges that they face, including those from the secular world. Men of all ages and stages of life are welcome to listen and share their thoughts at our Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Ministry program.
