WEEKLY PETITIONS
for the week of July 6

Our burdens are made light by our loving God, who hears the prayers of his people.


For the Church, may we grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as we strive to proclaim God's Word in our daily lives,
                                                         we pray to the Lord… 

That our government leaders serve with wisdom to meet the needs of the poor,
                                                         we pray to the Lord… 

For all families that are experiencing unemployment, that they will find work which will provide for their needs,
                                                         we pray to the Lord… 

For all those who are ill, and for those on our monthly prayer list, may their faith in God's healing presence give them hope
                                                         we pray to the Lord… 

For our loved who have died, especially Cynthia Manaka, mother of Becky Schwartz, may they be rewarded with eternal life,
                                                         we pray to the Lord… 


Loving Father, hear our prayers and us what we need to open our hearts to your Word. We ask this through Christ our Lord,.
